Use architecture and urban art as a tool for urban interventions.

381 KOREA is a manifest against the conflicts between two brother countries, divided by the demarcation zone (DMZ), a 250 km frontier surronded by land-mines, militaries and explosive barricades.

Using architecture and urban art as a soco-political tool, the objective of the intervention is to evaluate the capacity of influence the two combined have in a social context, and how each discipline can help each other whereas to create a new border.

Inspired by the "Asentada 15 M" in the "Plaza del Sol", Madrid, the architecture has been conformed recycling existing elements from its surrondings, military artifices that are manipulated together transforming into funcional spaces that grows out of the frontier.

The intervention is, therefore, an improvised space created by its inhabitants, whom re-interpret the dividing frontier into one that unifies.
